The plaques in the hall of the Hungarian Royal Post for the millennium exhibition of 1896 were framed by carved, painted pediments, a copy of which is kept by the Postal Museum, and which is the main theme of the HUF 40 denomination. The post horn motif decorated with the Holy Crown symbol is complemented by a bundle of lightning referring to electrical communications, telegraphs and telephones.
